Advancing Climate Science for Central Asian Resilience
Green University is the regional epicenter for interdisciplinary environmental research. Supported by the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, we bridge the gap between scientific discovery and national policy to address the unique challenges of the Arid Zones.
1. Our Research Infrastructure
We host the Research Center for Ecology and Environment of Central Asia (RCEECA), a world-class facility spanning five floors of specialized laboratories dedicated to climate adaptation.

Combatting Desertification & Arid Zone Studies
Leading research in GIS & Remote Sensing (Lab B107), Desert Plant Biotechnology (Lab B109), and Halophytes/C4 Plants (Lab B211) to restore the Aral Sea basin.
Water & Biodiversity Conservation
Our Water Conservation Lab (Lab B308) monitors glaciers, rivers, and wetlands to secure transboundary water resources for Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
Environmental Monitoring & Air Quality
The Air Quality Lab (Lab B411) provides high-precision data on PM samples and air pollutants to inform national health standards.
Circular Economy & Green Horizons
Researching waste-to-resource pathways in Lab B141 and sustainable economic models in Lab B402.

2. Innovation & Green Commercialization
We don't just research; we build. Our Innovation and Commercialization Department transforms lab discoveries into regional economic solutions.
- ORGANIC LIVING Project: A flagship university-born startup producing refill-based, zero-waste home cleaning products to eliminate single-use plastics in the local market.
- Living Lab Campus: Our campus serves as a pilot site for renewable energy integration and circular waste systems, providing a real-world testing ground for sustainable startups.

3. Global Scientific Partners
Our research is amplified through a network of elite global institutions and international bodies.
